About this site

Welcome to Pattern Bloom, a creative haven for anyone who loves the relaxing art of coloring. Here, you’ll find a growing collection of ready-to-print black-and-white geometric patterns, each designed to inspire creativity, promote mindfulness, and bring a sense of calm to your day.

How the Patterns Are Made

All the patterns on this blog are created using generative art, primarily with the p5.js library. Generative art involves writing code to generate designs using mathematical rules, randomness, and algorithms. Unlike AI, which uses machine learning to analyze and replicate existing styles or patterns, generative art is rooted in the direct control of the artist, blending logic and creativity to produce unique, intentional designs.

This approach allows for infinite possibilities while ensuring every pattern is thoughtfully crafted to be enjoyable and engaging for coloring.
