The person and ideas behind PatternBloom

What is PatternBloom?

PatternBloom is a personal brand for procedural art projects. It’s a space to share generative designs, open-source tools, and experiments at the intersection of code and visual art.

How the Art Is Made

All the work on PatternBloom is created using generative and procedural techniques, primarily with the p5.js library. This involves writing code to produce designs through mathematical rules, randomness, and algorithms. Unlike AI-generated art, procedural art is rooted in the direct control of the artist, blending logic and creativity to produce unique, intentional pieces.

This approach allows for infinite possibilities while ensuring every piece is thoughtfully crafted.
